Woolston Christmas Festival 2011
Winter is well on its way with the chill in the air, but that only got residents in Woolston more eager to get out and explore the Woolston Christmas Festival! In its third year running, the Woolston Christmas Festival was once again highly successful, attracting thousands of visitors. The high street was pedestrianised and market stalls were set up along the road selling a lovely variety of goods and offering services. Many stalls were selling homemade produce which gave people the opportunity to buy unique Christmas presents for their friends and families. The children loved the merry-go-round and were all eagerly waiting to visit Santa Clause himself! The Woolston Christmas festival is extremely prosperous to local businesses and really gets the community into the Christmas spirit. We hope to see the festival running for many more years to come.
