The Meadows composting site consultation
On the 7th October, Community Development Officer Jade Polhill and Neighbourhood Officer Cheryl Kernoghan did a door knock around the Mansbridge estate to give information and get feedback about the new composting site. Radian’s Ground Maintenance team suggested that we recycle our waste ‘onsite’ to save both time and money. The new site means that local people can collect the compost and chippings free of charge and use it in their gardens – this will particularly appreciated by the Mansbridge gardening club. Residents will also have allocated days when they will be able to dispose of their own green waste to the site. The composting site will be ready to use from spring 2012
