Sunday Fun day in Chapel: Chums play park

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon in August residents in Chapel, Southampton met at the ‘Chapel chums’ play park to enjoy an afternoon of food and fun with the community. Each household came with a dish to feed hungry mouths in an American style buffet. Ninetto the clown came along to keep the children entertained.

A resident from Nelson Street, Chapel said ‘it has been a lovely afternoon, the clown was fantastic and we have all had a really great time’

Residents worked alongside Swaythling Housings community involvement team to organise the event. A big well done and thank you to all the residents who took a lead on the success organisation of the day!
