RAP And Beat Box Fun

molly_rappingA Rap and Beat Box Workshop was arranged in Woolston on Thursday 3rd June to get young people in to talk about the community and to give them the chance to try their hand at this exciting art form.

One of our residents who came along to the event made a recording with a backing track, having put together her own words and developed her own style.  Good on you Molly - we thought you were amazing!  Music Fusion who delivered the workshop were brilliant.

We used the opportunity to go out and about and talk to young people in Woolston, many of whom said they were interested in what was going on in their area but would like to be able to talk about things on somewhere like FaceBook.  It was a really hot day and many of them were outside catching the sun and revising for exams at the same time.  We still want to get a Young Residents Forum up and running in Woolston so if you are interested get in touch with Giv Thornoton on 023 8062 8169 or email her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
