Poole Quarter Residents Association Annual General Meeting

Poole Quarter Residents Association held their second AGM on November 3rd 2009, the purpose was to give reports to the residents from the chairperson, treasurer and elect the committee for the following year.

Chair of the group, Rob McDonald, gave a report on the work the committee had carried out over the past year. This included

• trying to hold Crest and Countrywide to their promises about the Travel Plan and other aspects of the environment in Poole Quarter
• helping  the community to grow, both with regular newsletters and with the summer party
• developing links with local services, particularly with the local council
• holding meetings on a monthly basis to give opportunities for people to discuss Poole Quarter

He gave thanks to all who have worked with or been part of the committee for the past year. He said that the critical issue for the next few months was to work with the management agency Crest and Countrywide before Crest left the site.

A new committee was elected with Rob McDonald being re-elected as Chairperson.
