Mansbridge Residents Association Annual General Meeting

MRA hold a yearly AGM, the purpose of this meeting is to give residents reports from the chairperson, treasurer and to elect the committee for the following year. This was held on 15th October 2009.  Carol Winkworth, chair of MRA gave a verbal report of highlights and achievements for the past year. These included, taster sessions which included belly dancing and cheerleading. She also spoke of work that the committee had carried out on behalf of residents such as working with the Police and Swaythling Housing Society on ASB issues. Carol thanked the committee for all their hard work and commitment for the past year.


Other agencies including The Police, local Councillor and Swaythling Housing Society also supported the event and spoke to residents on issues that were raised. The evening saw approximately 15 residents turning out to support the AGM.

The newly formed committee saw several familiar faces being re-elected and a couple of new ones. Carol Winkworth was re-elected as chairperson. The committee will continue to work on improving community spirit and activities for Mansbridge.  They would  and welcome ideas from the residents.
