Mansbridge Good Neighbour Day - Spring 2008
Residents celebrated Good Neighbourhood Day at Mansbridge Primary School, Southampton. The turnout was excellent with everyone joining in activities including fun for under fives, henna painting, Indian head massage, 3D model making, street and drum workshops, healthy food to try and freebies to take away.
The free burgers and hot dogs were very popular! The Police bought lots of equipment with them for people to try including riot gear!
The day did have a serious side to it as well. Various agencies had worked together to sign up to a local Neighbourhood Agreement which laid out what is happening in the neighbourhood and how. Agencies included Mansbridge Residents Association, Mansbridge Primary School, Southampton City Council and Swaythling Housing.
