Makeover at Meadowsweet Way, Paulsgrove

Residents came out in the rain to help spruce up the area around Meadowsweet Way.  They joined staff from the Portsmouth City Council Community Warden team, the Community Payback Team, the Police and PCSOs and the Fire Service as well as staff from Radian.

Hedges were trimmed, walls painted, lawns strimmed and rubbish removed during a morning of blustery winds and showers.  The reward at the end of the morning was a choice of hot dogs or burgers supplied by Rkadia caterers.

Throughout the day, residents were able to talk to staff from the different agencies and find out more about ways they could develop and improve their area.
