Residents at Doreen Wellfare House, Stokewood Close and Hesketh House have recently finished a four week course aimed at encouraging older residents to get online. The internet can be a lifeline for those who are less able to get out and about, so residents were encouraged to explore using e-mail and doing their shopping online. All participants were pleased with their progress, with some keen to buy their own computers and find out more about the world wide web from the comfort of their own armchairs!
