This was a fun filled day with lots of things for children to do. It was put on by the Forest First Children's Centre at Heather Road, Blackfield.
Swaythling Housing supported the Centre with a £200 donation towards the event, and, together with Western Challenge, funded a clown.
There was a cake stall, a barbecue, two play buses, a puppet show and other games. We were there with information for parents, pens, lollipops and other freebies! We also had a table for children to make a bird feeder so that they could encourage wildlife into their gardens. This was a real success as it was something children of all ages could do and lovely and messy!
Shame about the rain but it didn't dampen anyone's spirits.
