Drama At The Point

Young people from Pilands Wood and Pirelli took part in 6 weeks of workshops arranged by The Point Centre in Eastleigh. Swaythling and Eastleigh Borough Council worked with The Point's outreach organise the activities.

The children enjoyed working with professional artists to produce their own drama scenes. They also got to work in the props department making fantastic masks, 3D models and glass painting.

The Point is one of the most vibrant centers for the arts in the south of England with its mix of dance, theatre, film and light entertainment. In 2007/08 Swaytling provided £3000 to the point from our Community Fund to support their work within the community.
