BME Housing Launch, Cafe Mumbai
To mark the launch of Connecting Communities Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) housing report, a celebratory event took place at Café Mumbai restaurant in Southampton.
The report focuses on equality regardless of race, religion, gender, disability or sexual orientation everyone deserves equal access to decent housing. Over 100 local residents and workers came along to the event at which they found out about the research and how this would affect the citys future. The BME Housing Project is in Partnership with Southampton City Council, the BME Steering Group, Swaythling Housing, Raglan Housing, Western Challenge Housing, Hyde Housing and First Wessex Housing.
