Black History Month Time Capsule Hits The Politics Show

Showing heroes for BBC Politics Show

The Junior PCSOs have recently been noticed by the BBC Politics Show! Following the launch of the time capsule at Black History Month the BBC got in touch to ask if they could film the children with the time capsule and air it on the Politics Show. The time capsule contained the children's black heroes.

On air they had to explain why they put the hero in.
Harjit Singh from Chapel said "I put Louis Hamilton in the time capsule because when I grow up I want to be a racing driver".
The BBC came down to the Chapel Play Park in October to do the filming. Approximately 20 Junior PCSOs took part in the event and the parents also came out to try and get their 5 minutes of fame! The children also got to meet the director of Children's Services, Clive Webster.
The children are all being sent a DVD of their Television appearance which was shown on Sunday 18th of October on the midday show.
