Affordable Home Ownership Awards
Swaythling Housing were proud to win three awards at the Affordable Home Ownership Awards on 4 September 2008. The awards were as recognition of excellence in the provision of low cost home ownership.
The event was held in London categories were:
- Best Stand Alone Small Development for Hill Street, Woolston
- Excellence in Customer Care'
- And finally we were delighted to win the coveted overall award for Affordable Home Ownership Provider of the Year
George Clarke, Architect and presenter of Channel 4s 'Build a New life in the Country', 'Property Dreams' and 'A Dream Home Abroad', headed the judging panel and announced Swaythlings outstanding achievement.
The Judges stated that Swaythling have submitted excellent submissions in the categories they entered. For the best stand-alone category, they took on what was an extremely challenging site and unlocked the development potential using an innovative approach and achieved a scheme with a high standard of specification and workmanship. For the excellence in customer care they addressed all the questions really well and demonstrated a clear and progressive improvement. The high quality of submissions coupled with evidence provided convinced the judges they deserved the title of Affordable Home Ownership Provider of the Year
